Barabino & Partners Sponsors FPA Media Awards 2023

For the sixth year in a row, Barabino & Partners has been a proud sponsor of the Foreign Press Association of London, the world’s oldest and most prestigious society for foreign correspondents, for its annual awards event.

Since 2017, the partnership between FPA and our communication agency has witnessed the British branch of the Group based in London – Barabino & Partners UK – collaborating closely with Barabino & Partners Design – the division specialising in corporate identity and visual communication consulting, who designed the graphics and logo of the gala.

This year marked the 135th anniversary of the “Oscar of Journalism” that was celebrated on the night of the 20th of November at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in London amongst 33 nominees, three judges, 360 guests, 500 members and foreign correspondents who bring stories to the UK from every corner of the world.

To celebrate one of the most authoritative and coveted journalism awards in the world, the FPA Media Awards this year saw the special participation of Royal guest HM The Queen, who was presented with an Honorary Membership of the Foreign Press Association, joining her husband, HM King Charles III who is also an honorary member of the FPA.

With around 400 carefully selected guests, including influential members of the British and International media, UK politicians, business leaders and foreign government representatives, the judges announced the winners for the 12 categories shortlisted.

This year’s stories were particularly brilliant and illuminating, especially in light of events that continue to affect the global landscape, including the ongoing Ukrainian War, conflict in Gaza and the migrant crisis in Lebanon.

Barabino & Partners is a proud supporter of this prestigious reality and remains dedicated to renewing its support for future endeavours.
